A quaint old cottage recently totally renovated to a high standard.
A large enclosed shaded garden surrounds this comfortable and attractive cottage.
The Doll's House was one of the first two gites we rented out in 1992. It has always been popular for couples and families with two children but in 2010 we decided it was time for a facelift. Although it is still essentially a two bedroomed cottage it is now more spacious as we have converted the previously unused loft space into 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed the other with twinbeds), whilst downstairs there is a large modern kitchen, a bathroom with "Douche Italienne" and bath, a separate WC and a very cosy lounge from which you access the patio via French windows. The house is fitted with a reversible heat exchange unit providing heating in winter and air conditioning in summer. In the lounge there is also a wood burning stove, which means that even in the coldest weather The Doll's House is snug and warm and so very suited for people looking for longer term lets in the out of season months. Special rates can be negotiated for such lets.
The garden is quite large and we provide all the necessary garden furniture and equipment.
This cottage is situated at the Northern end of our 100 hectare property. A 10 minute walk through the woods, passing by the 2 smaller lakes, brings you to the big lake where we have created a sandy beach, diving and jumping boards. There are also canoes, boats and a Pedalo.
